Returning veteran :-)

After many years I've just gotten back into AACW. I just upgraded from 1.05 to 1.17a so that's how long its been :-).....I'm in late May of a Full Campaign (Union) and I can't enable divisional command. The tooltip says - all your 0 dvisions are on the field/division formation is not yet enabled for...

Redeployment

yah.......he was like 4 3 3 when i redeployed him......the point was to sub him for mcdowell who was 2 2 2 (i think)......at any rate, i've tried this a few times with others, including thomas who went from something like 4 6 9 (after winning several battles and being promoted to 3 star) and his sta...

Redeployment

i've searched the threads and the manual for this and haven't found an answer. i noticed that redeploying a general causes his stats to plummet. is that a bug or functionality.

Portage........

i LOVE this game........if i could change one thing, though, it would be the addition of portage to the mix......it was an important part of travel in the wilderness during the period and i think it would add a whole lot to the game......in addition to being able to embark an army on boats, it would...

empty battle screen bug.........

pocus.....i've been able to replicate this pretty consistently in 1.03, at least as far as the empty battle screen is concerned......i don't get the crash bug when i exit the screen, but i do get the empty battle screen whenever i complete a turn in which there were no battles.

depots and replacements.........

yes depot qualify too, and passive increase your chance of getting one (if you have one in the pool that is) edit: passive is really a passive posture, not just a reserve one. A question about command........

I understand the importance of having units "in command" but, as a practical matter, if you have a 2 cp general and 4 units going into a fight, is it better to have 2 units in command and 2 units fighting on their own, or to put them all in the stack with the 2 cp general? Has anyone tested this yet?
