incoming DLCs / expansion

after Hannibal release, it looks as if the game has lost some momentum (guess there are ther games on the table and limited resources)
any news on dlc or expansion? we all agree that there are many interesting Roman subperiods to explore¡

long Battles

h, just bought the game. it has been quite a long time since i last played RoS, and congrats :) for the game is polished, adopting some of the good things in the FY mod. however, it takes ages for combat resolution, no matter the amount of soldiers involved, and it drags the campaign speed (with kid...

NM is the morale of the army, of combattants, not of the party staff. In RUS, about the Red army, as the combattants in Red and Black armies are friendly almost the same paesants, but surely not the leaders and officers (who are not friends as they can kill each other even when allied), so the ally...

slow running

hi there, every quarter i go back to this game, a truly blast and one of my best 3 games ever. however i find a bit frustrated for the long time it takes to run each turn, so playing >2 years takes many hours. (my pc is quite new though) i know that there are ways in the setting to speed the process...

german warplans & inititiave

playing a germany, one of the big pluses of the schiefflen warplan is that you can cross maastricht and enter belgium avoiding the liege fortress. i have tried several times with my I army but impossible. am i losing something or is it a bug? if you cant cross holland, i do not see the advantage of ...

Select a friendly controlled area enough close to the enemy area you want to select as target of the Grand Offensive and then click the appropriate button on the top bar of the screen (that one looking like barbed wire). i've tried in several phases of nov-dec 14 and jan-feb 15 but still unable to ...

We have considered the subject, but it can only be done as a side-project as we would surely lose money (that we don't have ;) ) if we were doing it otherwise. Definitively an interesting subject though. The AGE engine is versatile enough to allow us to do that, I confirm. i am sure you have consid...

The activation test depends of the strategic rating of the commanding general (as you probably now). So putting in command generals with high start ratings (4,5,6...) will improve your chances. Beside this... you can always check the option for "no activation test" but it will make the game much le...

hi, playing with teh British in the 1775 campaign my "brilliant" strategy is plagued by the continuous inability of the british major generals (burgoyne, howe et al..) to pass the active test at the beginning opf each round i agree that this reflects the problems the british had historically to wage...

dear all, not sure why but i had the impression that you get a defensive bonus if you enter a town/city (even if there is any fort) instead of being outside it. however, after playing for some time i have the impression that in order to get a defensive bonus (trenches) is better to keep the defensiv...
