I understand the rail transpost capacity is given but I can't learn how much each unit costs to transport by rail. Is it the same as naval tansport? Where is this explained?

Does the command posture of a cavalry unit have any influence on its ability to interfere with supply? For example, does a cavalry unit have to be in an offensive posture?

Among the best books I have read on any subject is Fred Anderson's The Crucible Of War about the French & Indian War on the North American continent. It is magnificent. Don't take my word for it though
