Re: Multiplayer, Historical Stalinism, and Victory Conditions

About your first point, I don't think the AI can be improved to be a real challenge, therefore I agree that a better PBEM system would be good (this is the worst in all pc games that I have played so far). Said that, for what I have read on the forums (in general not only about this game), sadly the...

Re: Using the Union Navy

I'm taking notes in my game (see AAR ) and at the moment the return is 1.5/1.75 WS per Brig, of course they are still untouched. After 10 turns I can give you a better statistic, but as Gray Fox said maybe they are not worth to build because can sink, or even if damaged they will stay out of busines...

Overall Strategy

Looking at the map there are ton of places where you want to fight and build up your armies but given that the resources are very few I will select only few areas. Far West The goldmines at Sacramento are very tempting but I am not sure if I can take them without a big effort, I prefer to invest lig...

Re: Are you still playing?

I have to say that I play again, after long break, very very few games, and CWII is one of them.
It is not too complex but still very deep, moreover is a WEGO that almost every boardgame cannot handle.
Surely the history theme does count too.

CWII game

Hi all,

I am looking for a CWII opponent(s), I played some PBEM game in the past therefore I am not a newbie but neither an experienced player.

One of the best strategic game ever made needs a play every so often :)

Thanks
