I would consider it a good use of programming time. It's definitely more immersive and 'fun' for me to see the raw numbers sizes of armies.

That is a really solid idea! Being able to drive development in a preferred region within a province would really be a great feature!

I just want to say one more time how much I am enjoying this game. I haven't had this much fun in a GSG since Crusader Kings 1 and I think the 'Wow" factor is equal to the first time I played EU2 17 years ago.

It'd be pretty cool if we could grant honorifics to Legions. I've been calling V. Legion "Ferrata" since they've done so much in the Samnite and Cisalpine Gallic Wars. If we could simply rename units, that'd be groovy, but it would be a nifty mechanic if you could apply an honorific to a u...

Okay sold, I stop sulking, and will buy at Slitherine shop as it is the more Ageod here, even i don't have FoG2 here but at GOG edit: 53.99€ box version with shipping :/ , maybe for a game I won't play. Agreed! I have 21 hours in already and I'm just delighted! I don't use the FOG2 battles as much as I thought I would, but they are a nice touch for when I want to manage the battle myself.

It's very reasonably priced! On Steam, if you already own FOG II, you can "complete your collection" by adding Empires for $29.99 (which I did, thank you very much!) or list price is $39.99 - quite reasonable!

What sort of role does supply play? Similar to older AGEOD titles? I like the war of maneuver that maintaining supply lines forces and the way it can be used to force battle or avoid it, depending on desire/skill.
