I think I've seen where an artillery only unit/division always attacks the strongest opposing unit first with a first strike. In that case, does that unit need to be in its own stack, or can it be bundled into other stacks and keep that advantage?
Currently playing East Scenario (2-Star). Some units, such as boats, are listed in Iberville LA, but LA is an inaccessible region for this particular game. Am I missing something?
That was some list, WOW. Lot of great information, but how much do you really need to know to succeed? I'll keep looking at it, but again, WOW. I won't actually play for months, if I try to memorize all that. LOL I'm still learning heavily, and want to play CSA. Guess it's the southern in me. LOL Is...
Not really sure how to use Belle Boyd. Do I bounce her around units, and she'll give them intel? Do I send her into enemy unit territory, then bring her back to a unit, kind of like scouting with cavalry?
OK, so basically, did you hold or retreat, then check battle results for inflicts and losses to get an idea. The victor in a battle is determined by battle points (BP). If you hold the ground, that's 5 BPs. If you retreat, you lose 5 BPs. One BP for each National Morale point gained or the opposite ...
I've had battles where the numbers ALL seem to be in my favor and vice versa, but the opposing side wins. What am I missing here? How does the game determine a battle victor?
I will keep the restart in mind. When it crashes I get a small white box with what looks like a message in German. Sometimes I can keep going, sometimes not.
I purchased CW2 and the DLC on October 16. I know it's been a couple of months, but I like the concept, and have been trying to give this game a chance. Multiple scenarios keep crashing, and some aspects of some don't work properly. I won't repeat as I've been trying the forums for assistance, and p...
Well, that didn't help either, but thanks yet again.
I posted this on the Steam CW2 Tech Support board to see if that gets me anywhere. May just be a bug in this scenario. Fortunately there are plenty of others.
Where do I find this? I looked through the Options and didn't see anything about an "administrative" mode. I have played other scenarios, and war bonds worked fine.
Is there a reason war bonds won't issue when requested? I select them and get Davis' signature but they never issue according to the messages and money. The next turn I can request them again, over and over. I am playing the 1862 East Scenario. A couple of other scenarios seem to work fine.
How do you tell which ships are blockade runners, blockade raiders, etc.? I don't see that in their names or descriptions. Do their characteristics tell you, such as speed, combat power, etc.?
