Good news!
Tamas, thanks a lot for this post.
I guess all you have wrote above is extremely important for all AGEod players.
There is not so much information at the moment but many more questions.

Re: Battle system: FOG2 or AGEod?

Empires is entirely playable without FOG2. The very basis of the whole design is that fact - FOG2 integration is an extra option on top of an entirely separate game. It`s a good news! Would be a pity lose brilliant AGEod battle mechanics. What about me so I`m not a big fun of merging two concepts (...

Battle system: FOG2 or AGEod?

Hi Pocus!
In a case of import battles into FOG2 the original AGEod` Battle system will be ignored?
I mean the plenty of these super concepts: cohesion, command penalty, commanders ratings, frontage etc, etc...

Re: Air units in gold version

I did not know that pre-gold version has a land element (airbase) inside an air unit (the same we have in TEAW)...! I know that some air units come via events, but none can be recruited right now. Is it WAD? As I remember in RUS GOLD we can recruit air units. I can not check it now because at the mo...

Re: Soviet - Polish War

Yes, there is single scenario you can play Poland or Revolutionary Russia. Whites are AI controlled, but they can be modded to be playable. Yep, I got it! But there is a good news for me: soviet-polish war occurs in the RUS GOLD Grand Campaign and I can manage Reds, Whites, Polish and Ukrainian by ...

Re: The Best AJE Grand Campaign

Septimus Severus 193 AD scenario has all stuff: - 3 sides to choose, long campaign without to worry of short ending (and you may edit end date or just play after victory screen) - nearly all provinces available in scenario (a rare thing in AJE) - and you may become sole ruler of all Roman world in ...

Re: Soviet - Polish War

In pbem play, that is, a three player game; the Eastern Whites (Siberians) control the Polish faction. The Poles are controlled by AI only if the player is playing Reds against AI Whites. I would say "not only in pbem" :) I used to play all AGEod titles against myself for all sides. That`...

Durk, ERISS thank you for such detailed explanations!

As I understand Poles in Grand Campaign controls by AI (as Green faction), not by human player.
But in a single scenario they could control by Human, do they?

Soviet - Polish War

I have question :) Is "Soviet - Polish war" a scripted part of Grand Campaign, or just only a single scenario? I play RUS GC and 30% is already done, but at the moment (1919) there is nothing about this conflict in the game ledger. Another words - should I start that single Soviet-Polish s...

Anyway I play the same way - all games simultaneously :o :D The only difference is I don't make notes, so it's uneasy sometimes to remind what I wanted to do in that particular GC :) Notes are very helpful sometimes :) :) During gaming I used to have a "notes file" opened on a desktop and...

Re: The Best AJE Grand Campaign

Durk, your experience is very valuable.
I made a decision play all AJE stuff in chronological order. Even more, I put on pause my BOA2 GC (War of Independence) and going to play all BOA2 stuff from oldest to newest scenarious. I think in this sense BOA2 is too close to AJE.

That`s reasonable and clear. The most important that you're up to schedule with the game release.
And I hope your team will have enough time to finish this project on time and in a good shape :winner:

Oh! That's important for me because I try to choose the longest content among others to get a maximum value from the game.
Given this fact I sooner choose a chronological order of playing all AGEod` scenarios.
