Is there a way to build additional railroad "pool" points?

My rail line is developing nicely however I don't have enough pool or transport point to move much military units.

Building Railroads in Swamps

I'm playing a PON game as Russia. It's late 1850. The game will not allow me to build railroads in swamps and mountain regions. I can build railroads everywhere else.

Why is this?

Is there some technology that needs to be researched first?

How do I set the game up for hosting?

How do I close out a country's order phase so that I can move to the order phase of the next country? I don't think it's a hotseat arrangement is it?

I've struggled with the same problem. My thoughts are that the artillery units use ammo faster than it pushes itself forward, leaving a deficit of ammo along the supply path. I'm pretty sure you are allowed only one GHQ per fraction. For example when I play the Central Powers (which I usually always do) they receive one German, one Austro-Hungarian and one Turkish GHQ. I'm not quite sure I follow exactly where you are seeing full ammo etc., however it is important to remember that infantry and Cavalry units do not use or contain ammo. It must be a three-star general to form an army.

He must be within the command radius of your general headquarters for that side. This is the shaded area you see when you click on your GHQ and hold the shift key. It is usually four or five areas in distance.

Having said that (and assuming that you are referring to alignment) I don't watch that metric at all. What does it really tell you, and what is it's impact on the game?

I've built a bunch of CP assault troop units, and moved them at least in pairs to various points on the front.

I am unable to obtain the assault troops RGD to drag and drop prior to an attack.

Has anybody else actually used the assault troops RGD?

Tips on how it's done?
