That was the Beta patch I installed prior to this crash. Not sure what else to do.

I have had the same issues. It has the potential to be a great game but I suspect the release was a little premature. My campaign crashed and the game in unrecoverable after 20 turns (every time I try a campaign). The critical errors don't appear to be specific to my machine or drivers. Any feedback...
