I'm glad to hear that you have solved your problem. However the only antivirus I have is Kaspersky which already has an exception for NGC.exe. Since it is an expensive but very good solution I do not want to disable it just for this game, if that is the suggestion in mind (it usually is)

When the game is fixed I'm more than willing to do multiplayer with other 6 people, even if it takes years, I'm committed to it. I'm not complaining because I have nothing better to do, but because I want it to be good. If anybody has a pbm game ongoing with newcomers, I may join.

Ok installed for the 3rd time, this time I changed hard dtrive. For some reason, which I dont even want to know at this point, the game works! The updates too! Guess I wont be uninstalling anymore. I see some small performance improvements to the map scrolling too.
