Not sure how many PBEM's are going on as there is nowhere to report games.
I'm playing one though and thoroughly enjoying it.

Cheers, Chris

In the War Room there is a PBEM thread where people post there games as well as looking for opponents.

Well with the new book out called Stealing the General: The Great Locomotive Chase and the First Medal of Honor by Russell Bonds, there may be another movie about it yet, who knows.

I like the second one the best as to me it gives a feel of the torn up soldiers and stuff from the period, even with the words. The crispness of the words in the fourth one do not seem to fit the torn flags that they are in front of. My second choice, or rather my other first choice, would be the th...

Those are fantastic looking pictures. Do you have them in the sizes for wallpapers? Or rather where did you get them and do you have any others?

Is there a battle summary in the game? One that I can pull up and see what battles were fought, who won, and what were both sides casualties. If not that would be a neat thing to add.

I forgot about those. I have read the first one and it was really good, if you can read it with an open mind. Many people that I know have read it and said that the "change" is implausible and such, which when I read it never had those thoughts. It did have some really awesome battle scenes describe...

Civil War Fiction

Hey guys,
I am looking for some good Civil War fiction. I have several that I am reading or have read recently that are very good such as Jeff (and Michael Shaara) and Richard Croker. I was just wondering if there are any other really good ones out there.

I would say that it is probably 18"X30" give or take an inch or two. It is a pretty good size map.

I found that it is the April 2005 edition of National Geographic that came with the map. If you go to their website you can go to the issue and look up the stuff they talk about in that issue as well as pull up the map that came with it with the ability to zoom into it. It is a really good map to st...

There was one that I got a couple years ago when they did an article on losing Civil War Battlefields in National Geographic.
