Re: Naval game errors?

Hi I have just read through this thread and congratulate you on your determination to succeed! I was supplying the information for the land campaign on their spreadsheets to correct unit names and also future units. I did a massive amount of work and posted the spreadsheets on a download file and em...

Hi, I saw where some units have not been updated for the sheet I sent; especially the Russians. Attached is a link with the OOB and the campaign database.

Hi I had a look at the Russians and they didn't seem updated for the database I sent you. Will that be in the next patch?

Well....the title says it all really. I copied the game from C:\Games to C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Wars of Napoleon and still no luck. I am wondering if it is pathfinding.

The game installer put mine in C:/Program Files (x86)/Matrix Games/Wars of Napoleon; don't know if that makes a difference. Anyway, the patch is an installer. You don't drop it into a folder, you unzip it to desktop and run it. yeah I tried this too I have the same problem doesn't recognize I have ...

How do you want your Prussians?

I am completing a database sheet given over to me by AGEOD which will have all the regiment names in the elements. For example Dragoon Guards for Britain: 1st (Kings)|2nd (Queens Bays)|3rd (Prince of Wales)| 4th (Royal Irish)| 5th (Charlotte of Wales)| 6th (The Carabiniers)|7th (The Princess Royals)...

I finished Austria and moved onto Prussia and then ran into a problem. The regiments were reorganized in 1808 and therefore the old regiment numbers have different names eg 5th Regiment der Königin Dragoons becomes 5th Dragoner (Brandenburgisches) Regiment. I want to throw open what suggestions shou...

So you can't see the elements in Sweden just the brigade?

1. Some record of the battles an element fought in for immersion do you could have regimental histories.
2. The possibility of an element capturing the colors of another element like march of the Eagles

The capturing of colours is already in March of the Eagles which ageod developed. Surely they can add that here. Protectin of the colours was a big deal in the napoleonic wars. The only other thing is record the battle with the element as a kind of battle honour. These would make the immersion fanta...

Yes. Another idea - capturing regimental flags like paradox did. So for the elements 1. Record the battles they fought 2. Any colours of the enemy they captured maybe there could be some part of the programming where if a unit is destroyed its colour gets allocated to an opposing element in some ran...

As Dutch units were included in the French 2e Corps in August 1805 above then it would be sensible to include the Dutch army as it was re-organized in 1805. The units in french service are excluded.
