CW2?

Looking to try my hand back at a PBEM game. Has been years since I played the game, so a bit rusty.

Well, it would of been good for me, if I had some advance warning it was happening lol. I had been pouring most my Mississippi forces to counter any river attack by massing forces across the river from Cairo. Right now Kentucky is an over all hot mess with no real battle lines. I have the army of Te...

Just came across this while looking up documentaries on Grant, thought some might enjoy a little humor.

Early Kentucky Succession?

Kinda wondering something... What is the earliest you have ever seen Kentucky Succeed from the Union? Playing a game with Buckeye and I think it was early August of 1861, last turn. Now Buckeye says he has never had KY succeed before, let alone this early in the war. I know it caught me off guard as...

HQ Support Card

Wondering something. They say they add the ability of training to a stack. Would these help turn militia into trained soldiers? Or is that just reserved for certain generals.

The wiki says it removes the fog of war up to 2 region. Would it also improve the information provide the higher it goes? For instance, at 55 it shows type of troops stationed, as it reaches higher does it increase the information provided about said units?

Am i correct in the thinking that you have to have 75% loyalty in a region to use the railways?

I would think Grant should at least be given the stat of Drunkard. I feel it would be more fitting to the fact Grant was labeled as such.

I have often wondered what if Stonwall Jackson had not been shot? I feel that had he been at Gettysburg that Lee could of won and likely routed the Union army. Maryland being a slave state and having a strong Pro CSA stance it could of caused the state to finally succeeded from the union. As it is o...

Battlevonwar, looks like your advice was wise. Supplies ran out just as a stack of 700 cp showed up from the East and 200 from the west. Now my forces are fleeing for their lives through the mountains. However do to the events in wv and Shenandoaha the union pulled forces from Alexandria leaving it ...

What was the games attrition level set to? If it wasn't historical then you can't be upset that they did not suffer historical attrition.

Trying to find a human player to play wi:th, hint, hint. Use to love pbem in the original game. Playing with a human player was the only time i was able to get foreign intervention. Managed to get it in the summer of 62. But to the matter at hand, I am sure it would be different with a human. But as...

Have only gotten to play against athena, but in my game i have kept the army there with a few reinforcements. Mostly cav and horse art. I also upgraded the area to have a depot and have sent raiders out to burn nearby level 1 towns and destroy railroads. It's not much but i figure it will hurt some ...
