Re: Ideas, suggestions & questions

SUPERB WORK!!!!! I would say that only guards regiments should be regular infrantry, while rest of the regiments should have statistics of musceters. as for Piechotą Wegierska - it should be treated as light infrantry. Definitly there should be added locked cossack units. Good remarks. Thanks. Maki...

Re: Ideas, suggestions & questions

Some fixes to Polish-Lithuanian OOB, hope you would have some time to address them: The overall army forces number of army without poorly equipped and anarchic mass levy was 25445 men in 1700. The Polish (Crown) army (Armia Koronna) total: 17570 men The detailed OOB: Cavalry total: 10360 men Arkebuz...

Re: Polish/Hungarian/Russian Muscetters

Very good suggestions, Marek. Just several remarks. Around 1690 intruction of flintlock was initited. But becuase of the lack of funds it was finishisd around 1706/1708 According to Tomasz Cieselski and some others authors the process of matchlock replacement with flintlock musket took much longer t...

Indeed the role of Poland is not really tackled in any account of the Third Silesian War. Iit needs to be mentioned that Poland theoretically remained neutral during the Third Silesian War. It suffered a lot from the Prussia-induced coin-debasement and from armies (esp. Russian) marching through th...

RoP future?

I know it's very old title but still absolutely marvellous, especially considering the topic of the 18th centuries conflicts is so badly covered in game industry in general. Just wonder if there is at last a slightest chance for the RoP Gold to receive any attention from the developers again in the ...

Yes, the 18th-19th centuries cartography isn't ideal when dealing with such detailed topography, just found it myself couple of weeks ago comparing the maps of the minor locality created just within fifteen years in early 19th century (and most probably even by the same person). Some abstraction wou...

Amazing level of details. This is so good, going to be the best map ever released for AGEOD games/mods.

How far are you going to go to west? I mean representing Saxony and Bavaria?

Thanks! All portraits are from the second half - late 1740s, tried to suit both settings, with the War of Austrian Succession priority naturally. :) EDIT: Also WIP of the proper Leibfahnes I'm working now. They are for battle report menu, aiming to cover all the armies represented in game. EDIT2: Tr...

Minor graphical work

Usually don't post on the AGEOD forums, but a long time fun of the RoP. Some of my recent work for the favourite game. Was inspired by fantastic modification of JacquesDeLalaing. ;) Should replace the vanilla flag and Friedrich II's portrait in the top left conner of the screen for every respective ...

Personally I would be glad to see Louis XIV's and the Regency era wars, early 18th century, i.e. 1700s-1710s years: Spanish Succession War, the Great Northern War, Russo-Turkish (1710–1711) and Austro-Turkish (1716–1718) wars, the Quadruple Alliance War. This great and extremely aestheti...

Could you please move Brunswick and Hessen to British control as was suggested above? Brunswick was extremely closely related to both Britain and Hanover dynastically, politically, economically and military. Hessen is a bit other story but considering its forces historically were used exclusively on...
