One note: it depends on screen resolution as I have now 1440, so StackWin@1440.fte was needed to change :-)

Training unit ability trains only the same nationality units. So Germans can't train Ukrainians or vice versa. Germans/Austrians have many and can have even more units with training ability. I'd like to know HOW to force game engine to shows divisional subunits horizontally like in red box instead of standard (left side).

Yes, just that was main reason it was all that fun. Similar thing can be done in Hearts of Iron (and even more with production in some mods).
But I prefer turn based.

There are airbases [land units] in Pride of Nations also, so you can recruit them.
If there is no land element in unit, then it will not let you put itself on map, even being in recruitment pool.

What's the point in Gold version was removing CMN_Airfield (airfields, bases) from air units? It looks impossible to recruit air unit if it has no land unit (removed airfield in pre-gold version just was making it possible). I know that some air units come via events, but none can be recruited right...

What's the point of having ScriptSCENARIO-NAME.ini and SCENARIO-NAME.scn files, when in both are written partially the same infos?
Do I need to edit both now if changing unit names, composition or other stuff?

It's just a function of "display it on screen". Nothing more.
The engine takes its real info about installed version from Registry, not that file.
