Re: No saves folder anywhere!!!

sorry folks I like this game but it is wiping out my patience and goodwill. I have numerous ageod games and have a pbem group that play many of them. So my long standing opponent and I decide to test drive TYW pbem. Catch is after 2 weeks of every single days searching I can find no saves folder to ...

Fancy a Challange? Need new austrian Player PBEM

1806 Just started. Austria has no army and no Emperor! Can you as the new Emperor use your diplomatic acumen to form new alliances and rebuild a new Austrian Empire? You will arrive in Wien with a clean slate to do as you wish. The game is still early and if you feel you are up to the challenge we w...

Part 3 History 1805

Part 3 of French 1805 History. Due to the war score rules the war with Saxony would yield nothing to France despite victory if bordering encroachments were not made. Ulm was a necessary supply point and it was critical that the Austrian did not get this, so I decided to pre-emptively strike. Wars wi...

The first spanner in any premeditated plan was Saxony declaring war on my ally Berg, very early in the game. This dictated my military campaign. Eliminating Saxony would remove the strongest minor in Germany. Obviously I would need Prussia's blessing (as I di not want war), but I had the moral high ...

With the closing of 1805 The Time has come the Walrus said to speak of many things.............well at least the French version of affairs. I began the game with no set plan. A major mistake players make in the Napoleonic period is that it is not just a wargame. Players could do well practicing a fe...

Totally agree British deployed numbers are unhistorical. A 50 000 British force in France in 1805 makes a mockery of the game. As France I inflicted a 27 000 loss on the British early 1805 and a few months later they appear to have recovered with minimal inconvenience. Also fairly unbalancing for th...

France is doing very well but I have to go away in July 2016 for 5 weeks. We have a 7pbem game in 1805 and I need someone to play France for that period.

Weird....here is what I see...Napoli is worth 10 for Britain and 3 fro France...that's more than reasonable Now I suspect the issue might come from a 'bugged' event value... I noticed that the Kingdom of Naples creation event assigns a value of 10 to the capital of the kngdom...

From page 12 on the Manual Sorta, I believe we are talking about NM not vps. Unless I am reading the below wrong?
On
the right page, each Objective is listed with its worth (this amount is
how much NM is gained/
lost when capturing/losing
an Objective).

Because on my objectives list screen for France it says 250NM !..............I think you will all agree that's a bit more than 3NM. If it was just 3 NM I wouldn't be posting. Spain tells me it is also 250NM for him re Naples. I am getting confirmation from the British player at the moment. So is 250...

Ok now comes the rub. I thought you said originally that France does not lose NM for allies. So your most recent answer contradicts the previous answer. No worries we can run with that. Now if France creates the Kingdom of Naples in 1805, then both Spain and Gb can simply take Naples for 250NM and a...

Thanks Phil. Now the flip side of this is that Austria would gain 15 NM immediately upon taking Milano yes? .......this is leading somewhere btw ;-) Any answer to the above? Yes we have a campaign in AU05 PBEM so it is a major issue the patch not being retrospective and needing a restart. I believe this happened once before with an AEGOD game (sorry can't remember which) and Aegod responded by making the patch ok so it didn't need a restart. This is a major issue fellas...

NM and allies?

In the Jan 1805 PBEM campaign game the Kingdom of Italy starts as a French ally. If someone takes Milano then does France immediately loses 5NM or is the NM loss only to actual French controlled cities?

thanks
