Naturamix (CSA) vs Murtagks (USA) Covid Lock-down Game 2

Turns 1-2 and Strategy, Hello! Since the last AAR seemed well received and we are still mandated to be indoors, Murtagks and I are swapping sides and having a rematch. Last time we played this match-up Murtagks was beating me until he just over-reached with an army under Sherman charging down the Mi...

Re: No-Grant Union Two - Covid Boogaloo

Thanks for the reply, glad it was entertaining :) Murtagks played very well and held off the Union for much longer than last time. I might have done a few things differently if I were him, but that's easy in hindsight. On attacks at lower odds: I think the ones that come to mind are Sherman's attack...

Re: No-Grant Union Two - Covid Boogaloo

Virginia final showdown part 1, I rushed troops to Washington, and was able to place Wallace's Corps under McClellan to try to block Lee's advance on Alexandria. 228_alexandria.png Regrettably, lee nonetheless inflicted a very large defeat on the Union defenders outside of Alexandria nonetheless. Turns 58-62 All but Virginia, As we knew that things were coming to a head in Virginia, Murtagks and I both chose to make aggressive moves out west. Turns 54-57 Deep South, The Georgia front began to move as Beauregard's supply depleted. Murtagks realised that he had to make a break for it with Beauregard and so the CSA army fought it's way out of Savannah. 212_Beauregard vs milroy.png 215_Beauregard again.png This allowed Savannah to be re-re-t...

Turns 51-53_Tennessee, In Tennessee the front was static in the west, with the Memphis garrison refusing to surrender. Turns 47-50 West, In the west the union made good advances without any significant engagement.
