Aurelin My grammar wasn't the best and I apologize for that. I usually use synchronized movement when moving corps and army's to the same location. However I didn't use it a couple of turns just to see if a certain corps was slowing down the movement of the entire group. I noticed with a couple diff...

Open game as France, choose Tilsit event for Prussia. Advance a turn then open game as Prussia and look at Tilsit event and you will see its the Russian version.

Another problem with Tilsit peace I tried to load game as Prussia to force the Tilsit peace decree and the option for Prussia is the Russian peace option. I think it is grabbing the Russian script and not the Prussian one.

Playing Jan 19 Beta as France. Tilsit event fired for both Prussia and Russia peace. I enacted the decree for both countires and the event showed in event messages, however neither country accepts the peace similar to the previous problem with Pressburg.

Pressburg followed by Austria war

Playing as France in the January 19 Beta. 2 turns after the peace of Pressburg (thanks for fixing that by the way), Austria declared war on Bavaria which of course means I am back at war with Austria again. Is there a way for you to script that countries are unable to declare war against a power or ...

Curious as to why you wouldn't use the button. You can always cancel the movement of any you want to send elsewherehave Aurelin, I usually do use the synchronized movement button to move my corps, I just found it odd that when I march all of the Grand Armee corps the guard is always bringing up the...

I see what you mean. I think there must be a link missing. BTW if you have no unit selected, if you hold you mouse pointer over a region and then press and hold the <Shift> key, you see a set of rays going from that region to all neighboring regions which can be directly reached. If a unit is selec...

Imperial Guard

If I move the Grandee Armee and all of its corps from one destination to another and I don't use the synchronized movement button the Imperial Guard always moves the slowest. Jean-Bapiste movement level is 5, which is similar to the other corps commander. The troops themselves were veterans and woul...

Keeping Prussia out of the war

For those of you playing as France in the January campaign. If you would like to keep Prussia from declaring war on you before the 4th coalition do not annex Hanover. I had been getting frustrated with trying to fight Austria, Prussia, Brittan, and Russia at the same time in 1805 and finally found a...

Every time I try to move a ship from tile Oceano Atlantico Norte to Atlantic Ocean tile just north of Cap Finistere, it always makes me go through El Ferrol. I am unable to access the ocean tiles around the maps around the Caribbean.
Maybe I am missing something

Cap finister

Why is there a bottle neck on the map at cap finister? The ocean around north west Spain is vast and yet the map on the game makes it so the British can park some ships there and cut off any movement from north to south. Even if you go across the ocean to the Caribbean you still have to go through t...

The only way I could get Pressburg to work was by choosing the Pressburg decree, waiting to see it in events and then open the game as Austria and accept the decree. I am playing 1.02 beta.
You then save and reopen the game as France and undo all the ai actions.

Diplomacy duchy of Warsaw and Westphalia

Playing 1.02 beta as France starting in January campaign. I made peace with Prussia in 1805 not using the tilst event. In the peace I created Warsaw and Westphalia. In diplomacy Warsaw and Westphalia have a score of 50 to me and I am unable to improve the score through diplomatic means. Shouldn't th...

I totally understand that my idea is most likely a ton of work, and would not be worth the programing. I just thought it was a good idea for game play, and it would be more historically accurate. Just keep the idea in mind if you are working on something similar I think it would be a fun addition to...

The command structure of the Union forces evolved throughout the war. Anyway, I don't think there ever was a unified command of Departments in the East as there was in the West until Grant was given the command of all of it at once. McClellan was given general in chief command in 1861, and did dire...

While that did happen, Armies operated mostly independent of any theater command during the Civil War. It wasn't nearly as important a post as during WW1, because Army commanders more often than not had the ear of Davis, or, the ire of Lincoln. E Kirby Smith was the only one who I could consider an...
