Wrong...there are quite a few Gold discoveries events that will bring you large gold mines deposit (Nome region) Yes, but I already have enough gold mines in CA, Colorado, and Washington. Plus, you will need a lot of investment to make the region populated enough to actually work those mines. Same ...

I have played US up to 1880. Early game, the easiest way to get state funds is to build a few gold mines in California. Not only can you sell the gold to your population as luxury and export. You monetize your gold stockpile once a while to get loads of state funds. There is a button in the F4 scree...

I have the same problem in my game. As the US, I built some rice paddies and railroads in thailand, but after some time the regions show only 10% transport efficiency. This is purely a guess, but I suspect what's happening is that thailand does not have enough coal stockpile to maintain the railroad...

PS. After your CW is over, let me know here cause you will need to revert your objectives (F10) to the normal overseas ones. This was another missing script we noticed in our PBEM. so the civil war is over. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but some interesting things happened, like Robert E. Lee beca...

re: Kensai: Thanks for the response, I tried to open your link, but it won't let me view it, even after I register for the paradox forum. It's been 1 year since war started, and I still don't have any new generals. I did discover a bug though. So before the war, I colonized Oklahoma and Arizona so t...

2 turns after posting this thread, Civil War started. I was very unpleasantly surprised by what happened! first, I had saved 280/335 recruits to use to build a inf corp immediately after start of war, but war event reduced my recruits to 0/0. What a waste of 300+ recruits! And, my National moral dro...

US gameplay questions

So I started my first GC as USA, and I'm at Jan 1860 now, on eve of Civil War. My economy is pretty good, and I have built up a sizable military in preparation for upcoming war. But I still have some questions. 1. Since around 2-3 years ago (right after Buchanan took over as president), I cannot use...

ok, after starting a new game to test out, I know how to do multiplayer from the start. But if I started the game as single player, how do I change to multiplayer one? I think once you hit end turn as single player, all the AI files disappear and you can't get them back. That was the reason why I co...

simply remaining the .trn file doesn't change the content - you need orders from Japan to set it up, as Jim has said, what you need to do is to open the .trn and save orders as say Japan. Then you will have 2 .ord files (the original state and the new one) and so on. That is my question, how do you...
