Are you sure the promo code is for RUS? ... because for example, look in here: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?t=19765 That promo (if it is the same that you are talking about) clearly states: Except Revolution Under Siege & other publishers games Ah, my bad.... doh. We...

RuS order problem

Hi, Here's another thread hijacker! I just received an email from AGEOD with a promo code for Revolution under Siege - of course I immediately decide to order it (being the hard-to-persuade guy that I am when it comes to wargames...). ;) However, once I enter the code in the first step and click OK,...

Heh, at least this one can tell apart a turn based game from an RTS game... many others can't ;) We can agree with him or not, but at least has played the game a little. Just for the laughs, check this so called "review" of Rise of Prussia :neener: http://feralentertainment.blogspot.com/2010/03/ris...

now we want exact, detailed, unit strength and power values displayed at a glance. Nope. What I and others have been suggesting is simply that the bullets shown on the icons on the map should display something that gives the player usable information (of course subject to FOW). Since these bullets ...

But, as Pocus says, we can get the dot info I am asking for with the tooltip - I just want the dots to jive with the tooltip, so I might not need to use the tooltip, so I can do a threat estimate just looking at the stack at a glance. Now, if the tooltip was as equally vague, that would be differen...

On a sidenote: as far as I understand, the number of "lights" represent the number of units in the stack, and not actual strength (as in number of men, combat value or whatever), correct? If so, I think it would make more sense if this was changed - as it is now, a stack with 4 full infantry divisio...

Crash to menu

After playing some turns of the july campaign, the game "crashes" to the main menu, displaying a popup message with what I guess means "abort/ignore/retry" in french. Nothing helps, aborting ends the program. (v1.00a) After checking logs, it seems the interesting one is !Main log.txt (excerpt): 23:4...

Had the same problem. After killing the install process, then uninstalling, deleting the folder (uninstall left some files) and restarting the computer, the installation went through the 2nd time. Same problem occured when patching to 1.00a today (although not until trying to start the game; the pat...

While waiting for the last 100 or so mb, and somewhat OT, have you completely moved to computer games? Or have you also continued with boardgame design?

Edit: very close now.... installing... :siffle:

did they make any more gorgon's series after birthright? cause i the story seems to fit, but i think it might be the one after this (if there was one). it was also made by sierra, which is the company i remember. Nope, not that I know of or can find any info on anyway. Maybe some ultrafans made uno...

Now you should be happy ! You already have FoF available (not sure it's really "good" but it's fun sure), then soon AACW (this one will rock !), and even then Grisby's ACW game (with the WaW engine, it'll be higher level but surely good). :siffle: Yup! Already got FoF on the drive, not my cup'o'tea...

Welcome :) I found the game via Paradox/Gamersgate. I think it is really good that BoA is distributed via a lot of channels. Paradox, Steam, Matrix, in Germany also as boxed version. So sooner or later everyone will find it. :cwboy: Thanks! :) And oh how I have waited for a GOOD ACW strat level gam...

Could it be Birthright: The Gorgon's Alliance? http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/birthrightthegorgonsalliance/screenindex.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gsimage Kind of a sleeper hit, slightly unplayable yet compelling. :) It had a strategic layer and an rpg layer...
