Re: Multi-player question

Definitely does not seem to be happening. I still have a game with a deadline of 8/15. Real bummer because it kills game momentum.

Multi-player question

What is supposed to happen after a game passes the "turn deadline" and a player hasn't submitted? One of the games I am playing is two days past the deadline.

Windows 10

Does WWI Gold work under Windows 10? Any tips/tricks? Mine seems to lockup or CTD.

Was trying it again after many years on faster hardware.

Just an FYI...I have been having issues with MatixGames installers lately on my Surface Pro. I found that if I temporarily disable Windows Defender real-time, it works.

Well, yes Prussia is entering early still. In our multi-player game, Austria and Russia made peace with France, leaving France one-on-one with Prussia. In fact, Austria had to make peace twice in three turns because of events that caused them to be at war again. Personally, unless an "alternative hi...

List of National Modifiers

Is there a list of National Modifiers anywhere? When looking at the options, the descriptions in the tooltips are not very helpful. For example., I cannot tell what the impact is of Preliminary Bombardment, Mixed Order and Flying Batteries Tactics. All the tooltips simply say you get this modifier w...

Leader bar covering jump map

Small item, but I think the leader bar needs to be moved up. There is room up and it is covering overlays and the jump map.

How does gaining/losing MC work when two forces are in the same region and not fighting battles? I know when one force is in a region and not fighting a battle it will gain MC, but what happens to MC during the turn when two forces are in the region?

I agree something feels wrong about winning the battle and still only having 5% MC. But that has nothing to do with the current change I believe. The current change was about ensuring a minimum of 5% MC. Before this recent change, wouldn't Hooker have had less? It seems the situation is caused by th...

Report this just as an FYI, and I do not think it will matter if the new EXE is always used, but reporting it to Pocus in case this was a situation he wanted to address in the code. I used the new EXE by mistake in a PBEM game where we had the issue. I had copied it when I ran my previous tests and ...

I am at a lose as to what that would be good for. Each time you have to move back into the region, arrive with cohesion loss, fight a battle you know you are going to lose, take more losses than the enemy and then return to start to do it over again the next turn. Are you trying to get rid of your ...

ROE impact

In testing he MC bug, I ran a situation of McDowell attacking Manassas 10 times. I was trying to to understand the impact of the ROE (specifically Conservative and Probe). In 100% of the cases, they ended up in the region. QUESTION 1: If it is a probe, I'd be curious to get thoughts on whether the a...

Forces passed each other in the Shenandoah Valley

I just had a very odd occurrence in a PBEM game. We are using Veteran activation. Union had a force in Harpers Ferry. CSA had a force in Strasburg. Winchester had a garrison. My union forces were told to move from HF to Winchester. CSA had Johnston move from Strasburg to HF. They passed each other i...

CSA instigating demonstrations

I am in a PBEM game, and the CSA is instigating demonstrations all across the union. At least 3-4 cities have demonstrated every turn since turn 1. I do not have enough counter cards to keep up. Is this WAD or is something not working properly? I do not remember facing this before this build. (1.05a...
