We were 8 turns into the August 1805 Grand Campaign when we hit a crash to the main menu problem. The game was started with the v1.02 Public Beta Dec 21 version of the game. Attached are the log files the hst file and the orders for the 7 sides currently begin played prior to the crash.

Just for fun, I decided to try loading in a saved quick fix 1 game back into the base v1.03 just to see what would happen. I got a good laugh when I looked at the F9 screen. Apparently, the Civil War moved at bit further south.

Durk-You're a much more optimistic person than I. I think there is still a problem lurking out there. To recap, Durk started as host of a 4 player game and quickly ran in the problem mentioned at the beginning of this thread. I offered to step in as an independent host and try and help him on the si...

As host, I ran into a problem that I've seen before ( http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?29969-Odd-File-Exchange-Problem ). While I received orders from all the players, ROP didn't recognize the Prussian orde...

Indeed, Kentucky chose the Union side in June of 62. I'm wondering why the Union side wasn't able to choose intervention in the early part of 1862 while the Confederate side could.

Kentucky Intervention Question

I'm playing a PBEM game using the latest game version and was interested in being able to have my Union forces enter Kentucky in the spring of 1862. When I went to try and activate the Kentucky Intervention option, I found I wasn't able to select the option. All I could see was the text for the opti...

I had problems with filters after the v1.10 QF, but found that the v1.11 public beta seemed to have fixed the filter problem. See:

Problem Attacking With Southern White Army

I’m currently playing a PBEM game and don’t understand why my Southern White army located in the region Semkin won’t attack the Soviet army located in the same region. A couple of turns ago the Soviets attacked into the region, lost the battle but remained in the region. Both armies remained in a de...

Question Concerning the FOW and Units

I have a question concerning the Fog of War (FOW). I've played most of AGEOD's games (except PON) and have some idea of how their games treat the FOW. In CW2, it looks like the game treats the FOW in much the same way as earlier games. The introduction of the vertical bars on the units in CW2 has ra...

Here's the procedure I discovered to change the name of a game. Start your game as usual. Once the game starts, go back to the main menu and go to the LOAD screen. Select the game you just created. In the upper right of the window a small button will appear. The tool tip on that button says it is a ...

I've been playing a couple of game against the AI and have had no problems. I went to start a new game for PBEM play but did not see any trn files in the save directory. A Couple of First Punic War Questions

I have a couple of questions regarding the regions of Drepanum and Lilybaem in the Southwest corner of Sicily and how they affect movement and supply. In the first image below, Rome is besieging Lillybaem and controls the rest of the regions in Sicily. Note that the Roman army besieging Lilybaem can...

Odd File Exchange Problem

I'm currently host for a 4 player ROP Gold game. During the first seven turns, everything appeared to work fine. What Event Unlocks Egyptian (Lagides) Forces?

In a Roman Civil War game, Caesar's forces have attacked Egypt. At the start of the game, Egyptians have locked forces in Alexandria, Memphis and Pelusium. Caesar's forces conquered Pelusium and are on their way to taking Memphis as well. I thought that all the Egyptian forces would unlock when one ...
