Ah that did it! Runs like a top! Thanks so much man, you're a mensch! Really Steam should handle this but whatever....Congrats on hooking up with Matrix/Slitherine and have a great holiday in New York's wine country!

Now to defend Maria Theresa's honor against that impertinent upstart!

I did cut and paste again, into a fresh folder where I had copied the game but no dice. Should I have used the installer instead?

Figured it out. Thanks anyway! If anyone has the same problem: unpack the patch installer into a new folder, then cut and past into your rop folder. The first time I just ran the installer with the the steam rop folder as the target but that didn't work.

Hi, I did this but the start screen still says 1.02. Yet the patch installation seemed to go fine (once I figured out where steam tucked the game).

Whew, glad I'm not the only one. I came close one game, had an army poised to invade Greece - only to see it rendered nearly immobile through lack of supplies. I've tried building an early legion in Spain but that seems to achieve little and saps resources. I've been sending my African force to Sard...

Hoe exactly do naval units aid supply? Do they work in a similar fashion to depots if you leave them in port? Or must they be at sea? Yes privateers....must learn to kill privateers. Thanks!

Also, after that section there's a boldfaced insertion saying -

I started with the four turn Carolina scenario (the game version of the tutorial) until I could figure out how to move. Now I've moved on to playing the 1775 scenario as the British over and over again - until the point I conclude that I really need to understand a certain concept a little better. I...

I'm having the same problem, but I haven't even received an invoice even though I've run my Visa information through twice (hope I don't get charged twice!). It's been over 24 hours. I think you guys are great and I'd prefer to buy from you than paradox but this should be easier.
