The biggest problem for PoN is that Paradox screwed up the financial basis by pushing it out a very low price and then allowing steam to sell it for $.99. That severly hampers development - something you might like to take account of when pushing the very witty 'beta-tester' line? These are not mut...

That seems to be the MO that AGEOD has slipped into. 1.) Release game early and full of game stopping bugs, but promise to fix them in patches after release. 2.)Make lots of promises for long term support of their games, as the trade off for being a "small developer" in a "niche market" and for cust...

I am getting "application is stalling" when I start the game. And the log files aren't updating, so there is nothing to report. I did a fresh install of from Gamersgate, and then an install of 1.04 from the patch. I got that error. Then I tried this fix. Got the same error.

No, that's pretty much how it works. The diplomacy in this game is shit. I play as Prussia, and I steam roll Mecklenburg, yet for some reason I cannot annex them. I can take all of their territory except their capital, but I can't annex them. So I don't. I use develop territory to increase my loyalt...

Releasing in December and then taking time off for Christmas (totally understandable) was another questionable decision. A premature release is one thing. A premature before Christmas with planned time off is another thing altogether. This part really jumped out at me. I've worked in the game indus...

I would give the game another month. At least until another patch or two come out, you'll probably just end up angry and frustrated by crashes. Especially if you do anything other than play as France, which seems to be the main faction they tested.

I started a new campaign as Prussia. Second turn, I am told I have three new National Military Modifiers, and two New National Naval Modifier Options. I can find the three National Mililtary ones when I press F3, but the naval ones are no where to be found.

Brigades growing on their own?

I have noticed, that if I buy brigades with two elements. Eventually, they have 4 elements. And it seems random what elements. I have bought a bunch of brigades in cincinatti, and now they have 6lbers, a cav element, and 3 infantry. I don't understand what is going on.

150 Morale for CP needs to not be instant win.

The Entente both need 200. Why does the CP only need 150? They should both be 200.

This is why I think capital ships should be reduced to one element units. Each ship is a unique unit and element, and division commanders ,if they ever implemented stacking for naval units, could have a full 8 ship division of capital ships.

It would, but then it would introduce the problem of increasing the number of counters by 4 to achieve the same concentration of power. Even if it is 200 days, which I haven't seen, that is still to fast for a replaced element. That implies 200 days to build a brand new ship to replace the lost one. Not realistic.

Naval Replacement of Destroyed Elements- Naval Mod

This makes no sense. A unit of 4 battleships with 3completely destroyed elements can be back to full strength in 30 days? I'm pretty convinced at this point that there needs to be a major mod to overhaul the naval stuff. Off the top of my head, the best option would be each capital ship be a unit wi...

Germany starts with a bunch of Torpedo boats, but there is no option to build more. Also, do ship types in the game get upgrade over time? I'm playing as the CP with plan Moltke. I've dropped several of the Corps in Gumminben into the two armies there, and they seem to have less combat value then they did as independents stacks. Unfortunately, I think it is an inherent limitation of the engine. At this point, I am not sure because it is coded in Delphi and not a "faster" language, but there is definitely an issue with large database games like PON. Other AGEOD titles are really fast to have their turns processed, but they ...
