If its not the name of the region, then it is the nation tags being the wrong way around.

IIRC you first select the nation who controls the region, then you say which nation -should- control it

I have a positive or neutral balance on all input material. I think I have enough stock also. Check the stocks. If its below what your factories need for operation each turn, they wont add to production. The game doesnt notify you, neither do the factories shut down, and it wont show in H-screen or...

[...] The change of ownership seems ok. The allowance of colonial decisions I have problems with. That would allow Sweden more than the Ottomans in the first place, a country that had colonies and protectorates from the beginning. Also to declare protectorate and thus claim a colony for your own it...

I changed the setting back to zero. I guess the option I changed was for the AI running a country that did not have an ord file. That explains why none of the trn files go suppressed. I changed the correct option now, so hopefully we can get rid of all these unplayable country files. Late October 1...

For the time being true. Also true that I never really looked at it from the money gaining perspective. For me as Ottomans it wss simply another variaty in the luxury portfolio. When there is no .ord file, it is basically the same as loading the turn, and saving without doing anything, or as in SP turning off the AI

Lack of coal that shuts down structures has been fixed in a previous patch, look at the release notes, that's all I am saying. Having a consistent lack of coal unless you are at a major war (as Japan) means that you probably overexpanded your industrial capacity, railroad network, moving too much s...
