Oh, Jagger2013 ... Don't tell me about AI :) It is VERY basic. In DNO I went straight to Moscow (Minsk - Smolensk ... Moscow) and met just NO resistance at all along the way. AI don't mobilize, don't regroup forces, build new units rarely, don't defend Strategic objects, does not care about Supply.....

Huge changes in NM is the reason why DNO scenario is not playable, same reason - Grand campaign after 1920. May be don't change National Morale at all as result of battle? I propose to change it by taking/losing victory objectives (several NM) and level of Total casualties (-1NM for every 20000 or so). Fleets are good to transport troops and prevent enemy troops from crossing rivers. Also can Bombard, but damage is small. Replacements. You need to build them and spend money, manpower and supply resources. Those resources are generated in Objective cities or by events or by your Regional decisions....

Siberian Whites can build Tachanka units BUT CAN't FIX it! There is no tachankas to buy on Production screen as reinforcement.

I think there is an issue when division travelling by railroad can go through 14 areas per turn (not 15 as before). Also during travel abnormally high loss of Cohession seen.

There is a minor issue.

All NEW Red officers start as Inactive, can be only in Defensive/Passive posture and CAN'T create a division.

But NEW White officers are Active and NO RESTRICTION applied.

Suggestion - make new RED officers unrestricted too.

Thanks! I believe that even peaceful existence of Anarchists should bring some inconveniences for Whites.

And as discussed above current costs of Red alliance is prohibitively high.

Single armoured train would capture more than 25% MC in one region in ONE turn. You just give it a repetitive order to move into region and out of region. The last move order should be out of region.

I suggest to limit NM losses for small forces for major factions. In PBEM I had several cases: 1. loss of 1 NKVD unit = -1NM 2. loss of 1 brigade (4 units) = -2 NM 3. loss of 5 units (small force with total 8000 men) = -4 NM I feel such a big loss of NM is disproportional(at least for RUS game). There is no maintenance costs in RUS. Units only have to consume Supply (means food and water) and Ammo when fighting. If Reds can build ANY number of ANY division they will build only MAMMOTH size brigades like 4 infantry 1 Cavalry 1 Arty so their divisions will be pumped to about 50k size EACH. I ...

Yes. Pool increases are included. Overall current balance looks not that bad, if we take Armoured trains into account. But here is a pitfall - Reds are short of Supply to produce all that trains. May be add more supply for reds? Like generate a bit more per turn, or get more from Murmansk and Archan...

Very different strategies in PBEM and against AI. AI is really weak, it is good for practice only. To learn strategies read this forum and Paradox Plaza RUS AARs. There are several very good AARs (after action reports) by Bornego, for example.

Actually Armoured trains were excluded from calculation. Their building is Supply-expensive for Reds. Yes, -5 NM at once and -2 per annum sounds fare to me. Compare with cost of Balt, Finland etc alliance for White. Light infantry is good to fight in irregular terrain, like marshes, forests, hills. They have small frontage, it is good as per AGEOD battle algorithm. Also they have VERY SMALL supply consumption, that makes them good substitute for raiders.
