Kensai, I say it once again - it is NOT a mess and it has nothing to do with you mod, which is great! The problem is that PON is not very suitable for a player who does not have the time to crunch turn after turn. Also, my PC is not the best and the more the game advances, the more the PC performanc...

Man, this is a forum! If you don't want to be adressed, don't post.

But yes, I'll do you the favor and won't adress you anymore after this post, since you do not discuss but recite your opinion again and again, just in a more and more personally offensive way.

I am partly responsible for the lack of challenge in this mod, but I had warned you: doing the Großdeutschland Unification creates a behemoth, unrivaled in Europe and beyond in population and organization. Imagine how the WWI would have been in real life if Austria-Hungary was as organized and effe...

I have decided to pause the game - actually I have removed it from my PC, it really did mess it up. You are right, HerrDan, that more challenge would be good, and more action. PON is quite more simcity than other AGEOD games, and having 1000 more or less capital next turn is not all that exciting. W...

Update

I think it might be time for an update, although there is nothing really extraordinary to report. The army is still by far the greatest around, and so is the navy. We are now researching steel battle ships and other modern stuff. Nigeria is a full colony and we are starting on Camerun. People are qu...

Yes, that's the issue. It does not influence gameplay, but I just think he would look better with a face :) His name is "von Beck-Rzikowski" BTW, I sent you a pm as well.

Personally, I do not play PON as reenactment of history, but enjoy the possibility to alter it by making different decisions which I think better, or just by executing the same decisions better (which, tbh, is much more simple in a game than in 19th century reality). I like to play the historical lo...

The have already offered peace, but that's not what HerrDan wants, right? :) And yes, in the real world France should have joined in, by 1899 their alliance with Russia was already in place IIRC, just GB was not on board yet.

edit : footnote : recovering from a cosly war (in terms of destruction of national military) is an important point of attention too I second that. It seems once beaten, AI nations have dificulties to rise again. The problem is, as player, I have to eliminate the AI nation's military to gain the war...

I will absolutely need to keep the alliance with Brasil, since I buy my coffee and tobacco there. Also my colonies do not store enough supplies so I have to send units to Brasil ín case of supply emergencies - especially given the possibility of an overseas colonial war or war with the USA. It might...

Kensai, any suggestions concerning this global war? I will not start it soon, I am now playing the colonial game which is very slow, especially lack of supplies is - on top of colonial decisions being slow anyways - hemming me in. I just cannot put enough forces in the field for quick expansion in m...

Thanks! Will try some time this week when I get the next chance to play.

I have changed "ALL" to "DAN", hope that is correct - the Spanish were foolish enough to play hard in a crisis, so now we are fighting around Madrid which I do not want to stop prematurely.

February 1874

It is time for an extensive overview. This is our realm in the year 1874: Military situation The war with France, Italy and Belgium has ended, leaving us in posession of Nice (nicely seperating France and Italy for the future) and the regions with partly German population, Lor...

Since you asked for comments: What about zooming out for the screenshots about the war in Korea and use the "control" filter? Would make it easier to get the overall picture and follow progress. Although tbh your own game is more interesting than a border war in the Far East, if you ask me :)

March 1873

His Apostolic Majesty has decided that an alliance with the Czar is beneficial, and so it shall be. The war in France is winding down, the Imperial armies slowly gaining control of Northern and North-Western France as well - France therefore exists only behind the Loire, which for Frenchmen seems qu...

I will try with a cav unit in Zanzibar, although I think it very unlikely that a. there are rebels and b. there is a hidden unit of those, since I have not seen anything of them in more than a year of continuous military presence in open terrain, and I even have a fort there (at least in ACW forts a...
