Commanding another nation's troops

I am playing the Brits.
Portugal joined the Alliance, I have a general in Lisbon who can command Portuguese as well as British troops (so they say).
But he can't in fact. There is no way I can place him in a stack consisting of Portuguese troops.
Do I miss something?

In 1808, Napoleon marries Ekaterina Pavlovna Romanova, a Russian princess (such a proposal was made indeed), so Russia and France stay neutral. A lot more can be done about the Russo-Turkish war of 1806-12: what if it still lasted in summer 1812, if France joined it on either side, if Greeks revolte...

PBEM Helper needed

There used to be very helpful little programs called "play by e-mail helper". They would manage your files for you once you indicate the directory etc.

Is there any that works with AGEOD system and runs under Win 7 ?
(another system I use is Battlefront Combat Mission)

looking for PBEM partner

Ave! I'd like to play a scenario by e-mail. I have the game patched now: http://www.ageod-forum.com/showthread.php?26669-Public-Beta-Patch-1-01 No strong preferences regarding scenarios or sides, but we'd better start with something small. I have some experience with AgeOD games including PBEM but r...

In fact, any one can apply for the position of the third player for the Grand Campaign, Fatal years 1.06, no cohesion modifications. We'll start soon.

Anders, you can install a second copy of the game on the same machine and then modify it. I just did it. And we staill don't hear anything from our third opponent... In any case, I have another player, with him, we go for a Fatal Years mode (no cohesion modifications) and we haven't got the third on...

No problem about rematch. What do you think about the Fatal Years mode? They say, it's mor favourable for the Reds. Ask our Kolchak first, I mean Greenalien.

Typical Red boasting, isn't it? In early June 1919 (yes, that early!) the Reds lost it all when their moral dropped below zero after the fall of St-Petersburg and with White columns approaching Moscow from almost all directions.

I am finding my way with exactly the same two games now. PON is... about everything, in fact. More about economy and colonial expansion. I went through about 12 years of the grand campaign... and it was quite boring, to be honest. But not so with the RUS! This is really, really great, and this is ex...
