Re: Sons of War (RUS Gold Mod)

Hi all. Thanks for the mod, I am enjoying it so far in a PBEM game. However, I have a problem. I cannot form a division that has more than 10~ elements, so biggest one I can form has something like 9k men. My opponents, on the other hand, able to form divisions containing up to 24 elements. Any sugg...

Re: Can't Attach Army to GHQ

Thanks for the reply, Durk. Considering that attached commanders that are out of command radius still keep the extra command points, I thought maybe they can keep bonuses as well.

Re: Can't Attach Army to GHQ

I checked command radius as you suggested, and you are right: Hindenburg's radius ends in Posen. Well, I would expect that he could command a broader area. And a related question, most of my armies in Western front are not in the command radius of GHQ, though they still seem attached. Can they get a...

Can't Attach Army to GHQ

Hi all, I promoted a 2 star commander to a 3 star general and send it to the East. I want to attach it East GHQ but I can't do that, why do you think this is the case? It is not far away, and there is no any other army attached to GHQ so it is not the case that it is full or something. https://i.img...

Can the game run on Linux?

Hi all, What are the chances of running this game on Linux via Steam Proton? Field of Glory seems to run fine, so does Rise of Prussia. There are positive comments about Alea Jacta Est in Protondb. I do not know if these games' technical aspects are similar or not, but if they are similar, maybe To ...

1759, Late September Ferdinand saved Munster with 2400 casualties, while enemy had 3100. Kassel has fallen and French army is advancing. Since winter is close, i don't expect a direct offensive to Hannover, Lippstadt may be their new target. http://i1121.photobucket.com/albums/l509/Metalist-147/201...

Another thing playing as Prussia. When you get to the first unification (thew NGF), you'll get an influx of cash and private capital. And then the full German unification in about 1870 is insane. I had 34,000 in cash and 19,000 in private capital after the full unification (in my last game that I r...
