You don´t need the original game.

I´ve never had the first WW1, just went into with the gold edition.

WW1 simply is a masterpiece in my eyes.

I have tried some AGEOD demos in the past and never could get access to them. After playing WW1 I was able to get into RoP. Don´t ask me why.

WW1 is a little monster, but for some reason I got pretty quick into its game-mechanics.

I´m pretty sure he means the reserve unit queue. Without using this it´s nearby impossible to win the scenario.

Is there any auto-reinforcement option ? Don´t see anything like that. You shouldn´t be forced to change the turn mode just to play the game correctly, hm. If you have the option "all time for AI" or something like that on, turn it off.
(I play in German language)

This option leads to endless thinking AI enemies too.

I´m playing it on an Acer Aspire Netbook, 1.6 Ghz and 2GB Ram.......

with 5 Fps.....

Ok, it´s pain in the ass........

But, it´s so much fun, that it doesn´t matter, hehe.

Hi all, actually I´m considering to purchase ww1gold and therefore playing around with the demo. Everytime I´m going to the research menue, there´s no way of coming out there. I still can move the mouse but nothing else is pushable. Too bad because I´m starting to love this one.... Any suggestions?
