Yet they turn hostile when the Sioux event fires. That's why I said it's a bug. Was there an Apache/Hopi
uprising at the same time?

Re: Native Indians regional devisions

It's the Sioux Uprising of 1862 event. They are no longer neutral. They will turn back to neutral sometime in 1863. It's a bug since it was only something that happened in the Minnesota River valley. You can use your Subvert Indians regional decision card to try to turn them into union assets or att...

Re: Building a flatboat in Southeastern California

Southeastern California has no coast, so no flatboats. There should already be a fort there if
its not destroyed (as the South I always send someone to destroy it). You can build a depot
there that will help keep you supplied further South (or North, if you are playing the South).

Yea, I don't think there's any fix for that, other than to save the game, load the
CSA side and make purchases for it, then save as the Union and run the turn.

I'm thinking it was more of a historical "flavour" unit. They played part of a role

Will there be a CW3 though? And if so, when? Probably not for a few more years. It will have to appear economically viable for AGEOD. Does it not currently appear to be so? Not with all the other projects they have going. Keep in mind that these types of games are a niche market. They aren't making...

I like using it. You can always go with what the AI recommends if you feel stuck, but
it makes battles feel a little less uncontrollable.

Thanks for the reply. Where do I find this? I looked through the Options and didn't see anything about an "administrative" mode. I have played other scenarios, and war bonds worked fine. Before you start the game. I'm assuming you're using Windows. Right click the icon and select "ru...

Will you need to own FOG2 in order to enjoy that battle feature, or will it be
included as a part of Empires? Probably a stupid question, but I wasn't sure.
I was imagining FOG:Empires as an adjunct to an established game.

I'm a Southerner - born and raised in Tennessee. I believe I would have been one
of the 42,000+ who fought for the Union. I proudly served in the USAF and even
got disabled during my service. I tend to look upon my fellow Southerners who
support the Lost Cause fantasy as near treasonous.

Why would you want to pursue any campaign in the far west? Doesn't make any sense to me. The Gold mines for one, and San Francisco for another. Remember that commanders ratings can increase in value the more you use them. I once got Fremont to 9 experience stars, as he was the closest 3 star early in the war when the South came through Cairo. 3 years of Verdun-like warfare later, he was something like a 5-5-6. That a surprise. A mistake made when creating the map. The line should have gone just North.
Bartow and Clark regions are connected by rail though so it shouldn't cause any
problem. During beta testing we were told that the map was pretty much set in
stone and it would take too much coding to correct it.
